From the outside, this fruit has a smooth glossy appearance and is deep orange in color. This citrus fruit is less acidic than orange, but when it comes to taste, they are sweet and juicy. Clementine is a good source of many nutrients like vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, dietary fibers, and polyphenols etc. and presence of these compounds make them very beneficial for us as they provide a number of health and beauty benefits. Although Clementine is very beneficial for us and provides a number of health and beauty benefits, it is advisable to consume them in moderation. Consuming too many clementines is bad for our teeth because of its highly acidic nature. The high level of citric acid in the clementine is bad for our teeth as the acid breaks down the enamel, the protective layer that covers our teeth. Eating too many clementines can break down our tooth enamel and thus increases the risk of oral problems like cavities, gum diseases, and bad breath etc.

Regular and moderate consumption of clementine has been found to be very beneficial for the individuals who are on a weight loss regime and for those who would like to get rid of some extra pounds. This weight loss benefit of clementine is mainly because of its low caloric value. Eating 100 grams of clementines provides around 47 calories which are very low in comparison to other fruits like avocados, dates, blueberries etc.
