However, a higher intake of dietary fibers without drinking plenty of water may absorb too much water from our system and may give rise to problems like dehydration, indigestion, stomach pain, and discomfort etc.

Prickly pears are an excellent source of many antioxidants like vitamin C, vitamin A and other antioxidantal compounds such as phytonutrients, polyphenols, and flavonoids etc. in them.
