Capsicum or Bell peppers are a variety of peppers that are available in many colorful varieties like red, green and yellow.  They are native to America and were cultivated in South and Central America more than 900 years ago. Capsicums are less pungent in nature which means they are not too strong in smell and taste,  but this doesn’t mean that they are not good for our health. Capsicums are used as spices, vegetables, and medicinal purposes because of the numerous health benefits provided by them.
