For this, grapefruit facial mask can be prepared by mixing one tablespoon of honey, ½ a cup of oatmeal and ½ a cup of grapefruit juice together. The mixture so prepared can be used as a facial mask. The retinol present in grapefruit helps in repairing damaged skin and reduces the development of fine lines, wrinkles etc.
Another method of using grapefruit as facemask is by mixing ½ grapefruit juice and ½ cup plain organic yogurt together in a bowl. The mixture so prepared can be applied on the clean skin and leave on for ten minutes. After this, rinse your face with warm water and apply a daily moisturizer. This face mask is beneficial in fighting acne and also for improving skin tone.

To use grapefruit for oily skin treatment, mix freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and a small amount of fresh lavender or mint together in a small spray or squeeze bottle. Let it sit for at least 3 hours. The grapefruit skin toner so prepared is now ready for use. This can be applied to the skin using a cotton ball ( like the skin toner bought from the market).
Grapefruit can also be used for fighting acne. For this, grapefruit honey facial mask can be used. For this, mix 1 tablespoon of honey, ½ cup cornmeal and juice of ½ cup grapefruit together. Apply it on your face and let it dry naturally for ten minutes. After this, rinse off your face with warm water.

Another important beauty benefit of grapefruit is its ability to protect our lips from damage. For this, grapefruit essential oil can be used. Applying grapefruit essential oil on our lips can prepare our lips for wearing dark lipstick, and also acts as a barrier between our lips and the harmful sun rays that may cause damage to the soft skin of our lips.
It also helps in providing nourishment to our soft and delicate lips. In addition to the grapefruit essential oil, grapefruit lip balm can also be used for keeping our lips soft and free from damage.

For making grapefruit scrub, mix the juice of ½ grapefruit, one cup sugar and 3 tablespoons of grapeseed oil together. For this, add some grapefruit peels, two tablespoons of grapefruit juice, and half a teaspoon of borax powder together in half a cup of extra virgin olive oil. Now, heat this mixture in a microwave for few minutes. Let the solution cool and then apply it on your face and neck.

Grapefruit is also beneficial for combating dry skin. For this, mix half a teaspoon of grapefruit juice, one teaspoon of organic honey and a whipped egg yolk together. This paste can be applied on the skin to make our skin soft and smooth.
